I was always interested in cars and electrical systems growing up. In 2020, I started getting deeply involved with heavy equipment and semi-truck electrical systems — and that's where everything changed.
Working around equipment every day, I quickly grew a passion for work-vehicle safety. I saw firsthand how critical proper warning lighting is — making sure traffic and other workers are aware of a vehicle's location can be the difference between a safe job site and a serious accident.
I started doing safety lighting and supporting equipment installations on the side in 2021. Word spread, demand grew, and I realized I could turn this into a real business. In 2024, I jumped in with both feet and founded Guardian Lighting and Sound.
Since then, we've worked on almost every vehicle type out there — watercraft, UTVs and ATVs, semis, pickups, sedans, and more. We've done work for multiple fire and police agencies, and we've partnered with leading light manufacturers to give our customers the best products and quality of work for the best price.
